18g Nitrogen Cartridge Replacement

Even though I read all the reviews I needed to find out for myself and it is true, this is not worth $20 + shipping. It is enough for about 64oz or less. At this point I will just invest into a tank. It seems everyone must get burned by this purchase to realize a more reasonable way to run a nitro system.

It gets used up every batch. 1 cartridge per batch.

I have used this for a couple of batches of coffee and it generally lasts for 1 batch. I believe I read somewhere on the site it should last for (3). Am going to try it with a beer, and may work better since that will be carbonated, but still a little disappointed. Considering going to a 5lbs tank and full size regulator, but not sure if it really would be worth it. Other than the short comings of the duration of a cartridge it does what it is supposed to.

I would not recommend spending $200 on this system. Due to cost vs benefits; replacement cartridges are very, very costly and run out after about 1 batch (a little over 1 gallon of coffee). If there was an inexpensive adapter so you could use the smaller regulator with bigger tanks it would be better. If you want nitro coffee you can convert a full-size system to do this for about same money. Or if you own a full size nitro system, adapt it for a couple bucks with some items from the hardware store and get the same result for way less money. Aesthetically its appealing but not worth it.

Functional, but crazy expensive.
