Non-reactive stainless steel kettles will never scratch, chip, or rust. The five-gallon size is ideal for extract brewing. The 30-quart (7.5 gallon) size is just big enough to do a full-wort boil for a 5 gallon batch, and is an inexpensive all-grain kettle.
This line of stainless steel stock pots combine great quality and remarkable value. Unlike the inexpensive Italian Kettles made from welded sheet metal, these kettles are totally seamless. The wall thickness and overall mass of the kettles is significantly higher. The bottom of the kettle has three layers -- an aluminum layer is sandwiched between two stainless steel layers for superior heat dissipation. The bottom of the kettles are 5 mm thick, five times the thickness of the Italian Kettles. All of these pots come with a heavy-duty stainless steel lid, and hollow handles. These kettles will last a lifetime.
To prevent damage during shipping, series "A" and "B" kettles require minimal assembly- just screw the bulkhead fitting together by hand, and secure with a wrench. *January 3, 2007 - all "B" series Megapots are currently shipping with the Blichmann Weldless Brewmometer, #7417. Item #7410 appears in this picture.

An economical stainless steel boiler and/or mashtun. These kettles have been modified to add two 1/2" NPT ports — one for a spigot and one for the installation of a 1/2" NPT thermometer (if desired). The kettles ship with a 1/2" stainless plug to seal the thermometer port, and a chrome spigot. The spigot can be easily upgraded to take a 1/2" ball valve (such as our full-port stainless steel valve, part #P029) by purchasing a 1.5" pipe nipple (our part #P026).
Wall thickness is 0.8 mm, bottom thickness is 1.0 mm.
Optional false bottoms are available for all kettle sizes.
9 Gallon Italian Kettle. The nine gallon kettle 12.25" tall (the lid adds an extra inch) and 15.8" in diameter. An optional false bottom is available for mash tun conversion, or for keeping whole hops above the valve.
14 Gallon Italian Kettle. The kettles are 20" tall (21" with the lid on) and 15" in diameter. An optional false bottom is available for mash tun conversion, or for keeping whole hops above the valve.
28 Gallon Italian Kettle. The 28 gallon kettle is 23.5" tall (24.5" with the lid on) and 19.5" in diameter. An optional false bottom is available for mash tun conversion, or for keeping whole hops above the valve.
10 Gallon Stainless Kettle. (No spigot.) This heavy-duty, 18-8 stainless steel kettle will last a lifetime. It has a capacity of 10 gallons, which is suitable to vigorously boil over 8 gallons of wort. Perfect for all-grain brewers and extract brewers who want to boil full-wort volumes. A full wort boil is especially important when brewing lighter beer styles, as it prevents wort carmelization. Contains a matching lid. 16" tall, 15" diameter.
40 Quart Brew Pot with spigot. Polar Ware has modified their classic 18-8 stainless kettle (above) to make it the ideal brewing pot. This kettle features a ball valve for draining wort or sparge water; new for 2007, the ball valve has been upgraded to a 1/2" MPT. When used with an optional Stainless False bottom, the spigot is perfect for precisely controlling flow rates during a sparge. Also new for 2007 is a threaded 1/2" FPT port on the inside, set into the ball-valve outlet so it doesn't protrude into the kettle interior. Additionally features an exterior 1/2" FPT port for an optional 1/2" MPT thermometer (not included). The port comes with a stainless plug installed in case you prefer to use it without a thermometer. Same dimensions as the #7302 10-Gallon kettle (above).
60 Quart Brew Pot with spigot. Brew larger batches in this 15-gallon brew pot. The 60 Quart brew pot is also 18-8 stainless steel and has the same ball valve, interior FTP port, and external themometer port as the #40081 40-quart version, but the dimensions are quite different: 18 3/4" diameter x 13 3/4" high.
Stainless False Bottoms. An optional perforated false bottom turns the Polar Ware Brew Pot into an efficient lauter tun. It has three welded feet to positions it just above the spigot. A sturdy welded handle makes removal easy. Custom fitted for the 40 or 60 quart Brew Pots. (40qt=13 15/16" diameter, 60qt=17 7/8" diameter)
Pipe Thread Fittings for Polar Ware BrewPots. Allows you to connect 3/8" or 1/2" ID tubing to the ball valve.
