3/16" 'Foam Free' Tubing. Narrower inner diameter than K025, which increases flow resistance and reduces foaming at high dispensing pressures. Use for liquid lines. Flow resistance is 2 psi/foot. If you store beer at 10 psi, use 5 feet of Foam-Free Tubing for a good pour. Sold per foot.
1/4" Beverage Tubing. Our thick walled beverage tubing is odorless and tasteless. It can withstand pressures up to 70 PSI, and is ideal for both gas and beer lines. It measures 1/4" ID x 1/2" OD. Sold per foot.
5/16" Beverage Tubing. Large-diameter tubing is typically found in commercial installations. This tubing fits nicely over the gas-in sides of our commercial beer taps. Sold per foot.
Make your own threaded tubing. Swivel nuts have 1/4" FFL nut on one side, and a barb on the other. Use the 1/4" version (K123) with our 1/4" or 3/16" beverage tubing. The 5/16" version (K163) can be used with our plate filter system (K157) or larger tubing. Secure the swivel nuts in place with a tubing clamp (K124). A flared nylon washer (K127) is generally not necessary, but can help with metal-to-metal connections.
These reusable perforated band clamps are used to crimp tubing to barbed connectors. We use the smaller #1 clamp for our 3/16", 1/4", or 5/16" ID beverage tubing. We use the larger #2 size for our 1/2" ID thermoplastic tubing. Worm gear clamps require a small flat head screwdriver or a hex nut driver to install.
Oetiker Stepless Ear Clamps. These stainless steel ear clamps are easy to install, and securley grip hose without damaging it. There are no steps or gaps inside the clamp; once installed, the entire inner band of the clamp is smooth. These clamps adapt to hose expansion and contraction; there is no need to retighten the clamps after installation. These clamps require a special hand tool for installation and removal.
We use the 145 size for 3/16" and 1/4" ID beverage tubing/barbs. The 170 size is for 5/16" beverage tubing.
Ear Clamping Tool. While this tool is not made for clamping Oetiker clamps (it's made for cutting nails), it does the trick and the price is right.
Genuine Oetiker Clamper. This is the real, German-made Oetiker clamper. Lighter in weight, and lower in profile than our our generic "Ear Clamping Tool".
