Product details

Where curiosity flirts with slightly naughtier sensibilities, there, Kama Citra is born.

Bridging the gap between the classic American Pale Ale and West Coast IPA, Kama Citra is a deliciously decadent session ale bursting with provocative flavors, all captured in a one-of-a-kind beer recipe kit.

The Kama Citra Session IPA recipe kit unites hardworking traditionalists Cascade and Centennial with the bold, exotic tropical character of Citra hops. Instead of clashing awkwardly, these spirited hops fall into rare form and flavor in a brew that rushes across the tongue in ripe citrus-fruit bursts. Kama Citra's fresh ingredients combine to bring overwhelming aroma, backed by an uncannily soft malt backbone for a satisfying union of Sessionable and IPA. No restraint required. This highly flavorful IPA beer kit that makes it easy to drink more than one.

Best Home Brew Support!

I learn something new with each batch I brew and get great support from Northern if I have a question or a what if scenario or a “Why does a yeast starter work better with liquid yeast?” Or “How and when do I take hydrometer measurements?” I tried another brew supply place and just doesn’t have the same responsiveness that Northern has. Not only are they great with supplies and answering questions about the process, there is a wealth of knowledge to be gained by doing their online learning. They make this complex process accessible for the beginner as well as offering value for the advanced brewer. Their kits , recipe boxes and other supplies can be customized to suit the small kitchen brewer to a full basement/shed/garage set up. Cheers to Northern!

Malty and dark

Beer came out more like a ESB. Malty and bitter and no way citrus. Maybe an all grain would have better results.

Not yet brewed. Will start the process in early November

Great every time.

Good beginners kit. Great beer. Easy .

Very hoppy flavor

I love the flavor of this beer. This was my first try at brewing a beer that required hops to be added to the secondary fermentation. That made things a little messy when transferring to the bottling bucket, but the taste was worth it.
