Bravo Hop Pellets – 1 oz

Bravo™ is a second-generation super high-alpha hop developed by the Hopsteiner Breeding Program and released in 2006. Primarily used for bittering, Bravo™ imparts a clean, smooth bitterness with subtle aromatic qualities. When used in late additions or dry hopping, it contributes pleasant notes of orange, lime, floral, and sweet fruit, making it versatile for various beer styles.

Bravo Hops Overview

  • Flavors: Orange, lime, floral, sweet fruit, herbal, spicy
  • Primary Usage: Bittering (also suitable for late additions and dry hopping)
  • Best Beer Styles: IPA, Pale Ale, Red Ale, Stout, Strong German Lagers
  • Similar Varieties: Columbus, Chinook, Nugget, Magnum

Background

Bravo was bred from Zeus and a USDA male (98004 x USDA 19058m) to meet the demand for high-alpha hops with smooth bittering characteristics. Its high yield and resistance to powdery mildew make it a favorite among growers, while brewers appreciate its versatility and clean bitterness.

Was introduced to these hops in the CBD ale kit. I liked the results and decided to brew again using Bravo as the primary hop and trying some other hop combinations.
There was no disappointment.
