Bring your taproom wherever you go with the Northern Brewer one-gallon mini keg system. Perfectly sized for small-batch brewers and a great addition to our one-gallon small-batch craft beer making starter kit.

Keep your taproom close and your friends closer! Small enough to fit into your refrigerator, compact enough for easy portability; take it anyplace glass can't go. Homebrew that you can carbonate in minutes, not weeks, with the help of the mini regulator and CO2 canisters. Unlike portable keg chargers, the Mini Regulator features an adjustment knob and PSI dial for maintaining an exact pressure.

Great but…

This keg is great now that I’ve spent some time figuring it out, but it doesn’t come with instructions and I had a lot of trouble with the faucet it comes with - no matter what I did I had liquid leaking out of the assembly where it screws on to the keg. I ended up buying a socket wrench which allowed it to **** on sufficiently tight, but the kit doesn’t come with it.

Works great but should really come with instructions

I've put two batches through this and it works great. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't come with operation instructions. Putting it together was obvious enough but I had to google what to do with the system when it's carbonating. It also took some trial and error to get the right pressure for serving. Once you figure it out its easy

Great way to start brewing!

Kegging beats bottling!

I got very tired of cleaning and sanitizing bottles so I bought the Mini Keg system. It was a very good move! The system works like a charm and I don’t have to mess with bottles, caps and priming sugar. I plan to use my 1 gallon kettle/fermenter/keg for development. I am going to use my 5 gallon system to hold my favorites.
