The sturdy malt foundation of sweet crystal malts and toasty Munich unites with almost indulgent levels of Citra and Mosaic hops to achieve remarkable balance. Pale copper in color, Fresh Squished is overlaid by a fluffy, rich beige foam cap, allowing the juicy aromas to burst forth and enhance every sip.

Notes from Brad, Northern Brewer Development Brewer:

As evidenced by a wildly popular beer produced in the Pacific Northwest, the combination of Citra and Mosaic hops is an instant classic. Late hops additions provide an extraordinary sipping experience full of luscious fruit flavors and aromas. To keep this beer from being a one-trick pony, a fairly modest addition of toasty Munich malt and American caramel malt round out the flavor profile and provides a background for the Citra and Mosaic to shine.

Fresh Squished IPA

Love this beer! Make it very frequently. I am an extract brewer. I never get the “P” from this IPA. Instead of being “pale” I get more of an Amber color. Tastes great to me so I keep brewing it!

Followed directions on Recipe Sheet exactly and ended up with a delicious product, just as advertised. My son said it was the best IPA he ever had. Really happy w result. Already have my next 1st fermentation of “Dead Ringer” IPA frothing and bubbling in the carboy. Each time it gets easier!

Giddy up

Had a bottle of my Happy Trails IPA (fresh squished) and it was darn tasty. Held off on adding hops until after boil complete at urging of local brewery brewer (less bitter).

First IPA attempt

This was my first attempt at an IPA as I don’t typically drink them, but was pleasantly surprised. My friends and family who are IPA lovers really enjoyed it. The beer matches the description very well.

2nd Time and as Excellent as IPAs come!

My hot summer afternoon "Go To"! This is THE most refreshing IPA I've ever had. It's flavor-FUL, floral and smooth. I've brewed this with both the dry Safale US-05 and the Omega OYL-004 and both performed great and achieved a 7.3% ABV mouthful of deliciousness!
