Great beer

The Porter itself is a solid beer, but adding toasted coconut really makes it wonderful. My only regret is that I didn’t toast the coconut longer. I toasted it to a light brown. I was concerned about burning it. Next time I will take half of it and take it to a darker brown.

Solid Porter

Fermented with Voss Kviek at around 70f. Turned out to be a pretty solid coconut porter. I ended up putting the coconut directly into the fermenter, and as such some came through to my keg. There was so much I wasn't sure what else to do, maybe I'll put a screen in between kegging next time.

My Wife's Favorite. Always on tap.

This recipe is perfect exactly as it is. I have made multiple batches, and it's always a crowd pleaser. It's a smooth porter with a nice hint of coconut. Let it condition for at least the suggested timeframe. This beer will make beer-drinkers out of non-beer-drinkers.

Fantastic Porter

This beer came out great! It tastes better than a lot of Porters I've had at big microbreweries. I would definately make this again. Nice winter beer.
