Veneto Amarone w/ Grape Skins - Winexpert Private Reserve

High quality product once again from Northern Brewer. Timely delivery enabled me to produce a great wine at a fraction of the cost of today’s market prices.

The Amazon is a definite crowd pleaser. A satisfying aroma and bold taste which will certainly make me a return customer.

Haven’t made it yet but I’m sure it’s going to be good. I previously made a Nebbiolo from this kit series and it is really good- I got several unsolicited compliments. So I recommend any kit from this series of winexpert private reserve

I added water to 5 Gallons mark, SG was 1.090, I then added the Grape Skin bag in and stirred well, SG went up to 1.092. I brought it down to 1.090 by adding a little more water. I don't want to make a 6 gallons of red wine with only 11% ABV. I prefer my red wine to be between 13.50% and 14.50% ABV.
The kit came with a large bag of grape skin, and the fermentation start after 6 hrs. I did not try the wine yet it is in the clearing step now, day 60 and it not very clear yet.

We have gotten several wine kits from Northern Brewer and have always had great success from purchasing through fermenting. Drinking the end result is fun, too!
