Winexpert private reserve Zinfandel

Just moved the wine in to a carboy to sit for a while. Naturally I had a glass as I transferred it, for quality control purposes. Already it tastes full bodied and oaky and is dry on the palate. This is going to be superb around Christmas time.

2nd batch

We loved this wine so much we bought a second batch. It was hard to let the first batch age much, but after 6 months it already had a smooth and velvety mouth feel to it. The flavor was chocolatey and cherry. Think chocolate covered cherries.

Enjoyed in the past and giving it a go again. Hopefully the same result.

Gonna be superb!!!

Knew this one was gonna be good at bottling!! Almost 6 months meow and it’s transforming well. Gonna struggle to have bottles left at 1 and 2 year intervals. Just ordered another couple batches.

Lodi Yum

Lodi Zin is my all time favorite wine. This kit is super good after it ages for at least 6 months, and it will only get better with even more time. If you are inpatient and do not let this one age appropriately, you likely will be disappointed. I was, so now I age this one for a minimum of 6 months. Longer, when I can. Again, this is my absolute favorite 😍
