A classic ESB strain from one of England largest breweries. This yeast is best suited for English style ales including milds, bitters, porters, and English style stouts. This yeast will leave a beer very clear, and will leave some residual sweetness. NOTE: Due to the high degree of flocculation, this yeast has a very clumpy appearance in the package. Apparent attenuation: 63-70%. Flocculation: very high. Optimum temp: 65°-68° F
NOTE: During summer months, we include complimentary ice packs with all liquid yeast orders. However, it is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will stay frozen given transit times and particularly hot temperatures. For this reason, we recommend ordering dry yeast during summer months.
