Product details

A hybrid of ale and lager characteristics. This strain develops excellent maltiness with subdued fruitiness, and a crisp finish. Ferments well at moderate temperatures. Apparent attenuation: 73-77%. Flocculation: low. Optimum temp: 56°-64° F

NOTE: During summer months, we include complimentary ice packs with all liquid yeast orders. However, it is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will stay frozen given transit times and particularly hot temperatures. For this reason, we recommend ordering dry yeast during summer months.

The yeast packet worked well. It activated in just a few hours and I got an attenuation of about 84%. The attenuation was a little higher than expected, but within tolerances.

Very enthusiastic fermentation. In the past, made a light, spritzy, wine-like beer. Looking forward to this batch made with caramelized malt and Cascade hops and some other finishing hops I randomly chose.
