Great as a flavor carrying agent

Secondary fermentation: boil fruit in this syrup and let stand until cool. Voila! Flavored beer!

Seemed to have worked well, soaked the package in hot water for about 10 min prior to pouring to ensure easy flow and added with about 15 min left in the boil. Too soon to tell how the beer (Belgian Tripel) came out though

Replacement

Matthew, please contact us at Candi Syrup, Inc via our web site for a replacement at no cost. Some time ago we notified resellers of a small batch of Simplicity that was not completely inverted (our error). This batch was replaced and the old was to have been discarded. A pouch may have slipped by as in your case. There will be no harm to your Tripel as this is primarily a cosmetic issue.

Ordered 2 bags, 1 fine and the other is white paste

I ordered two bags of this for a Tripel and one bag looked just fine as the syrup was clear and thin like Caro syrup. However, the contents of the other bag was white, thick and pasty. I don't know what happened or if it's going to affect the beer but I don't think it's a good sign whatever it is. I'm worried that the pasty bag might have a lot more sugar than the other.
