Good basic red

Good quality partial mash kit. I'm just getting back into brewing and no longer have equipment for all grain brews. I usually add a few specialty grain to Box kits to taylor a little more to my preferences. Added 1/2lb Carmel 120L to the mash and ended with a lovely copper color and pleasant balanced malt forward beer. Would absolutely buy again.

Irish Red Ale, First Batch

I brewed the Irish Red Ale extract batch mid- December. Everything was perfect from the box and after a secondary fermentation yielded 46 bottles. The ale is very tasty with a nice head on the glass. My batch is s a little hazy since I didn’t use Irish moss in the brewing. No impact on taste at all. Great one to do again.

The kit was great! Easy to follow directions, and everything timed out after about 5 weeks (I bottled my brew). Excellent taste, would recommend this and will most likely buy another kit at some time in the future.
