This is no ordinary homebrew. We packed this kit with loads of fresh ingredients and decades of brewing expertise. Then we stacked the deck with a whole lotta hops. Four of a kind, in fact: Magnum, Chinook, Centennial and Citra. And get ready for the bluff, because this session brew drinks lighter than it appears. You won't find roasted coffee or bittersweet chocolate here, just smooth malty caramel with a touch of toast, and an intense hop presence with pine, citrus and fruity notes that stand no chance of getting lost in the shuffle. Play your cards right? There's no way to play them wrong with this kit. Any way you brew it, you'll be coming up aces.

A Good While Different IPA...

This one is challenging to place a proper description to though the finished concoction is unlikely to disappoint. This is also one not to look at before sampling as due to the color it could color your perceptions. Learned long ago from self professed “road kill specialists” (there was little they could not cook, and well) - Don’t look. Let your mouth (taste buds) decide. So, from the first swig there is a soft mellowness that offers an understated sweetness with that IPA sway that evolves into a mouth sensation akin to a long toboggan or less intense carnival ride with a long slope that lasts long and just keeps getting better, one that you don’t want to stop. Hops come though with a piney, citrusy hint that belies the dark color. This has a subtle intensity, wonderfully so without being at all overpowering presenting a cascading series of great lingering taste sensations. These sensations continue with a luscious, luxurious finish and is indeed most smooth throughout the entire envelope. The conclusion is an “If, Then” in that If you are after that which has taste different from that to which it might appear it should, Then give this consideration. And, this is not part of the “IPA Wars”, one may consume in moderation without meeting the floor prematurely… I prefer to get there on my terms.
