Product details

Distinct undertones of Saison funk, exotic notes of verbena and candied ginger evolve into a firestorm of complex, earthy spice. Bursts of citrus peel collide with wild lemongrass and peppery florals in a tumultuous surge of flavor

Alight with lemony herbals of Sorachi Ace hops, the sweet caramelly malt profile offers a pleasant mouthfeel that develops lingering, gingery warmth. Highly carbonated and generously hopped, Ginger Snap finishes dry-yet-smooth with a quenching bite for superb, refreshing drinkability.

Hazy and straw-colored with a brilliant white head, a snap of citrus and candied ginger evolve into complex, earthy spice. Exotic notes of ginger root on the nose complement undertones of distinctive Saison funk.

Fruity, spicy yeast supports a subtly sweet malt profile. The mouthfeel is rich and complex, ending with a pepper spice and a touch of clove. Warming ginger lingers in the background with peppery Sorachi Ace hops up front.

Highly carbonated and generously hopped, the Ginger Snap Saison Beer Kit finishes dry yet smooth with a quenching acidity for superb, refreshing drinkability.

Excellent saison

This beer is so good we are going to make it our go to recipe and experiment with our own homegrown adjuncts. The Safeale BE 134 yeast works well in this recipe. We did three weeks of secondary after two weeks of primary. We also bottle conditioned for three weeks. The end result is so good, the ginger is prevalent but not overly so......gonna try some hibiscus in the next batch ..can't wait !!

Great and forgiving

I love Saison beers, but I was unsure about the candied ginger in this one. I did mess up on the brew timing but, it came out great anyway.

This smelled quite good cooking it up. I have not used liquid yeast before , I grabbed the French saison. No major activity on the airlock. It seems to be improving as the temperature has risen a bit. With bated breath we shall see how this experiment goes. Cheers

The Ginger Snap Saison Extract is light, clear, crisp. This is an excellent summer beer that can compete with Gaarden Hoe and Hank's Hefeweizen. Follow the instructions but leave it in the bottle for an extra month to smooth out a slightly bitter bite. The improved taste is worth the wait. I used B64 Imperial Yeast.
