Irish Red Ale, First Batch

I brewed the Irish Red Ale extract batch mid- December. Everything was perfect from the box and after a secondary fermentation yielded 46 bottles. The ale is very tasty with a nice head on the glass. My batch is s a little hazy since I didn’t use Irish moss in the brewing. No impact on taste at all. Great one to do again.

Excellent Beer - just what I was planning for

The kit was great! Easy to follow directions, and everything timed out after about 5 weeks (I bottled my brew). Excellent taste, would recommend this and will most likely buy another kit at some time in the future.

A great red

As usual, fresh ingredients. I follow the directions according to Hoyle, save I use LalBrew Nottingham English Dry Ale yeast and bottle carbonate in Grolsch greens. I have made this several times, usually doing at least once per year and will continue to do so as a good IR is a staple beer, IMO.
