This large mash paddle / mash rack is 36.5 inches in length and is constructed of hardwood maple dowels.

Ideal for 10 gallon mashes; it will not ding up the inside of your stainless steel mash tun.

A little big, but it works

Bought this wooden paddle as my flimsy plastic mash spoon wasn't strong enough to stir properly. This is certainly strong enough. A little oversized for my operation, but works.

Mash paddle-doweled

The doweled design is not vey effective in stirring the mash. I found a long spoon to be more effective.

I have only used it one time & it worked well. Seems like very good construction and should last for quite a while. The paddle did not stain either after my first use which I expected it to. Maybe with darker malts and continued use it will change color. I think it is a great addition to the brewhouse since it looks great and reminds me of old time brewing.
