Replacement for my last paddle (same type). Haven’t used this one yet but see no issues so far and the last worked great

A little big, but it works

Bought this wooden paddle as my flimsy plastic mash spoon wasn't strong enough to stir properly. This is certainly strong enough. A little oversized for my operation, but works.

Great gift

I got this paddle for my grandson so i can teach him how to mash in he was thrilled to have his own paddle

Mash paddle-doweled

The doweled design is not vey effective in stirring the mash. I found a long spoon to be more effective.

Wood mash paddle

I have only used it one time & it worked well. Seems like very good construction and should last for quite a while. The paddle did not stain either after my first use which I expected it to. Maybe with darker malts and continued use it will change color. I think it is a great addition to the brewhouse since it looks great and reminds me of old time brewing.
